If Sony does come out with classic servers. What will the users do?

I voted pre-cu only servers. I know a couple of long distance friends that would join me and it would be worth it
In fact just yesterday my friend talked about how she missed her character and I never bring up swg because I know it can bore her
I would return to classic pre-cu servers in a heartbeat. I miss SWG, no other mmorpg i've tried has come close to it. Although if it was to happen, i would prefer that if Jedi had to be available, the only way to unlock would be grinding every profession! no master 5-10 and unlock, make it a hard long challenge that only few will undertake. Well i know i wouldn't be crazy enough or have time to grind 32 professions

Tho I am so angry at $OE my first answer was NEVER. But I miss the game too much to just say no no matter what. PreCU probably would get me back.
But it isn't gonna happen.

I actually liked the CU, just that the subtle screw ups (like levels, etc) made things kinda bleh.

Haha, I forgot all about that. I was thinking of Publish 1 because it would have been before all the CH changes and Carbineer ( I think its been awhile) changes. Plus if youre gonna start all over, why not START? Start at the birth of the game, and hopefuly they will patch stuff correctly and fix the appropriate things, maybe that time around they could prevent TK from becoming basically invincible.

The dead horse salesman is having a feild day here thats for sure,they wont bring any servers back into the game(i wish they would),but they wont,so get over it.
As for everquest its what like 7 years old most players are maxed out lvl wise so for that game its a chance to go back and see what it was like in the beginning,they'll be right back on thier own servers when they missed all the good stuff that was pushed into the game over the years thats for sure.

I would definitly go back if they brought the Pre-CU SWG I really mis TKM of the Pre-CU era..lol. However I would hope they would continue development for it, and ideally a normal compay would do so if that where the money is and I do think a Pre-CU would bring them a lot more money. I figure they could go back to the last expansion just before the NGE. They could give in-game credit for items lost or missing for players account who may negatively affected by the transition similar to the Vet rewards method.

Reason why Jedi could be in the game.
Should: Because most player want it, but I agree it should be tough to get and I favor a minimum of 6 months of active account game play to be eligible for it.
keep this in mind when you try and say Jedi should not be in the game.
1. Star Wars ROTS [EP3] hints at the possibility that Jedi may have survived.
2. The EU indicates that Jedi have survived during this time period.
3. Star Wars EP 4-6 is just one focus of whats going on in the galaxy at the time, so this doesn't mean that there are not Jedi doing their part but more secretly.
4. Keep in mind that the upcoming TV series is to take place between EP3 and EP4 and will have a jedi in it [last I heard].
5. Force Sensitives are still being born every day in this time period, as well as after EP3, and sense Jedi started with FS it is possible that some could become a jedi. Also consider that durning this time there is plenty of references for FS to know about Jedi [despite the Empire efforts] which gives them the advantage in learning the ways of the force. So probably the best thing the DEVs could have done for becoming a Jedi was to make it more quest based involving use of both mind and body.
6. Finally, remember Jedi was just a name given to a group of organized force sensitives that gained a high level of status. So it is quite possible that there are other more formal and organized force sensitive out there with their own name; example you could have a
organization called Force Knight, or how about one from the game and the EU .....NIGHT SISTERS!!!!!!
