    Frog from Crono Trigger (I loved frogs when I was a kid). My first rpg when I was 5 . . . and I didn't know what the hell I was doing (back in the day when game rental was 3 days for about 3-4 bucks).

    I'd have to go with Viconia or Minsc from BG. Though I must give props to either Morte, or Serevok, they were just so bad ass.

    That would be false since there is a 20 year gap between Trigger and Cross.

    As for my favorite... Zidane (FF9) and some other miscellaneous characters I liked for one reason or another: Starky (Chrono Cross), Zell (FF8), and Darc (Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits).
