I just got this Email roughly 50 minutes ago.
I know GamerFirst took over APB: Reloaded a long while ago, but i was under the assumption that even that was shutdown and scraped.
Why is this website not covering APB stuff if apperently the game is still up and running?

That is what i remember from my last experience i had some years ago when APB: Reloaded when it was reacquired, i remember loading in and almost immediately was run over by a small army of cars.
To be fair, that type of thing is not a farcry off from what players in GTAOnline can experience right now (with player interaction toggled on)
So the whole annoucment of Easy Anticheat has me interested, because if they do it right, this could (maybe) be a good thing... but i'm not sure how that'll help if the game itself doesn't draw in new players.

After Little Orbit/Gamers First took over the development of the game has mostly been little bits, and the engine update has pretty much been scrapped for little piecemeal bits after the update languished in development for ~7 years. This whole 1.3 push is basically just a swap to 64 bit and EAC.
To Little Orbit's credit, they have managed to do more for the game since taking it over than Reloaded ever managed to push out (barring cash shop content).
