I need a mmo with a good deal of instances and a good deal of pvp,

dont recomend wow ive played it,

    Try Everquest 2 on the pvp servers.

    I'm afraid I can't speak out of experience (still on the trial of the isle) but its faction vs faction, I think you can loot one item of the player you killed (I'm not sure about this, but thats what I heard) and it has some sort of ranking system. its not the best pvp ever, but it will do .

    Everquest is not fully instanced, but it does have instances..

    You get a percentage of their coin (10% I believe) and a random item off them. Attuned and No-Trade/No-Drop won't show up as loot. Anything else could.
