    That's the early access weekend for Diablo 4 Launch. Not sure that was the best date for them to pick.

    I was just about to post unfortunate, i enjoyed playing their last one and was looking forward to their next one but...D4...

    There are new games that launch pretty much every day.  If a free trial for a game that is well past launch has to shy away from the early access week of a game in a different genre entirely, then they'll never be able to run their own events.

    It's better to schedule their own events when they want to schedule them.  People who want to play their game will play it and people who don't want to play it won't.  There's no rule that they can't have another free weekend some other time.

    Yeah I understand what you’re saying but disagree.  This is possibly their last chance to get a look again. The population is minuscule.  They really target oldschool players and I know I’m one that would give them another look, but not on D4 weekend.  New games launch each week, but blockbuster PC games are significantly more scarce. If it were my decision, I would have picked another date.

    This the mmo without magic right? Or was that a different one? Some of these indie mmorpgs feel like they're bleeding together to me so I'm having a hard time telling the difference.

    If you think a game is boring, then you shouldn't play it, and it doesn't matter what the competition is.  That's not an argument that they should have made the free weekend a different weekend.

    I played the first weekend and enjoyed the first day, but after that the second day was just boring
