Some new server merges for Tower of Fantasy came across multiple regions in an extended maintenance today. This comes as new events start up, and hints at the future continue to drop.

    When will they learn. Channels not servers. Then you don't have to have mergers.

    You're absolutely right, especially since the game's content is focused on instances. That is, we will have more efficient matchmaking with a couple of regional servers.
