If you thought this one was creepy you shoulda read the first thread he posted a while back.

I remember it actually. Very weird. I think it degenerated into how we all thought that maybe he should go to a real club instead of a virtual one and interact with real people and maybe even meet a real, living, breathing female.

    Yep...

Sorry for the double post but...

I have to ask one thing. Why is it so fun to ruin other peoples fun? I guess Second Life isn't fun to me but it may be to other people and I don't think it is right to ruin their interest or fun in something they enjoy. See, it is because of people like you that pushed me out of Second Life. But I thank your kind for it, because well now i'm in There!

That question was to both Bob and the guy he is replying to. I mean, sometimes I just don't get people.

I thought you said SL sucked. That post made it sound like you had tons of fun. It even makes me want to play SL....oh wait it cost money so no.

Believe me Bob, you don't want to play Second Life. I mean when I first joined Second Life I thought it was wonderful, but that was because I didn't know any better. I still don't understand why any of my friends in Second Life stay there, it is just mind boggling to me. Besides there are plenty of people like the guy you replied to in Second Life, which he is a perfect example of why I left so long ago. People are pretty pethetic if they get a kick out of ruining someones fun even if it is in Second Life.

I also don't want to play There.

Wait... Say that again! It is music to my ears. Ok Bob, i'm sorry for anything offensive I may of said, you just made my day... Wait my night!

And you're the exact reason we did it, because you'd get so worked up. It was hilarious. We'd all get on Teamspeak and just mess around and have fun. One time we made a nuke and blew up Club Elite (the most popular club in SL) and watched as about 100 people flew to the edge of the map. I think I laughed so hard I cried.

Because it's fun to ruin other people's fun when they can't do anything about it. Now, you might be thinkin "What a puss. He has to hide behind a computer screen just so he can harass people.". But then again it's a game.

Oh, I forgot to say why. Want to know? Because I don't like rude and mean people who made virtual life difficult for those who want to enjoy it. Oh, and thanks for not wanting to play There! I like keeping the trouble makers out.

Its a virtual life, not a real one. And thats why its funny. No harm what so ever is done to anyone. None. Nobody gets hurt, nobody really gets their feelings hurt (well maybe you), and nobody has any risk of actual bodily harm. It's a video game. Video games are meant to be fun.

I'm sorry Bob and whoever else I may of said something rude to. I just shouldn't be like that when I represent the community of There. Please forgive me, I send my deepest apologies. I still do wish someone of you would try There out and give it a fair shot, just try to enjoy it. I just get a great deal of joy knowing i'm building part of the future. I just don't know what could be more important then improving global communication and inspiring human creativity. Do you?

I have tried it and it sucked.

I'm also pretty sure the community of There doesn't want you representing them because you make them all look like they have no social life.

I DID try There. I gave it a fair shot. I tried to have fun as it was intended, interacting with people and building things. I found it lame, uninteresting, and boring. I also found that the people who play There are all overly obsessed with the game, like you. It felt like a cult. It may not feel that way to you because you're on the inside looking out, but from the outside looking in it just looks creepy.

Wait, you didn't find that funny? I fell out of my seat laughing when I first saw it on the There forums, and so did all the other members who saw it. No offense Second Life members, we're just poking fun at you. Just like you have all those other times at us, remember?

Okay, I'll be completely honest here. The only thing funny about that commercial was the Second Life character changing sexes out of nowhere. The There character looked like a douchebag, to be honest. Whats something funny that you actually saw IN the game, while playing? Tell me a story.

Hmm, well it would have to be when...

These paint ball players turned against their own team and knocked them hell west. But the thing is it was funny to the ones getting knocked hell west too, it wasn't starting trouble or anything. Then they drove them over with TUV's and buggies and sent these big balls flying at them, it was pretty funny. But it was different from what you did because they all thought it was funny and it wasn't harassing anyone.
