Is this the game that is completely dependent on other players like running towns and such? Or is that Dex Pei?

Games really need to stop putting "fall" in their name. It never seems to work out well.

Tell me if you've heard this one before:

"Vawraek is going to present the biggest MMORPG universe in the world to the global audience with their new game, Quinfall. In the upcoming years, Vawraek aims to adapt real life to the digital world by creating a Sandbox MMORPG world on a scale never seen before."

Doing what AAA studios can't do, on a shoestring budget, in record time.

At least they're not hitting you for money... yet.

    Pass.

Years of bad and bland fantasy MMO have me unable to show interest in even the ones that look good, not that this does. When can we have an mmo change of scenery. I'll even take a shadowrun mmo if they need to have elves and orcs because they're too afraid to get very far away from it.

Id love to see a Warhammer 40k MMO done right. Maybe Henry Cavills efforts will generate enough interest to spawn a game. I mean there's a whole library of 40k games but most are strategy. None of them are MMOs. I think someone tried one years ago but it was basically a lobby shooter, not even an RPG.

Anyway yeah I think we have enough fantasy MMOs. I don't see anything here noteworthy. The generic on-fire texture applied to mobs when they're taking presumably burning damage looks particularly mailed in.

Anyone get an 'Arcania-Gothic" but Online vibe from this?

Don't forget they are building this "largest mmo ever" in highly detailed graphics in...unity lol. A engine known for top tier flawless performaces in MMO's or with ultra realistic graphics. I mean not that the engine can't make good game like Cuphead, Subnautica, but MMORPG's ain't on that list (rust is terrible) because it can't handle this type of game.

I have a feeling this one will be remembered as "Quickfall"

Steven had better not read these posts lest he is tainted by our cynicism. :)

That said, I looked on Steam and found this game already on my Wishlist, but then if it comes out later in the year as an early access guess who will be waiting for the launch and reviews?

I would love to see a good Shadworun MMO. I think back to the failed attempt at an online Shadowrun with Shadowrun Chronicles which flopped so hard it never really made it to an actual launch.

This game, Quinfall, man I thought it was going to be a single player game, but that just shows how little I had paid attention to it up until now.

"...which they base off of their previous game Kayra Online, which is no longer running, and most of their social media has been abandoned."

I think that the statement quoted above from the article is indicative of the eventual future of Quinfall, should it actually ever be released.
