was pretty easy im signed up and now downloading the 1.08gb file 48kb/sec
heh, wait until you have to update the client, it's either stalling out on me or downloading at like 100 bytes per second, the little progress bar hasn't moved in an hour
I believe they just put up the open beta patch today because the update server was down for quite awhile and now that it's back up it's as bogged down as can be.

If Im right the download of GAMEFILE.exe doesnt need much updating. Another lil help. If you downloaded GAMEFILE.exe you get a lil flash program with 3 main button. the left button is for some gameinfo the middle is to INSTALL and the right I forgot aobut (think it is exit). After you clicked INSTALL it should be easy. You will be prompted to install the game in a folder which contains chinese character. I heard this can cause problems so its better to rename the folder to somthing else like "Lineage 2". After all this yuo have 2 exe's which you can use to start the game. l2.exe is in the <lineage 2 folder>/system menu. Thi starts Lineage 2 immediatly. The other exe (do'h forgot the name, cant look it up from this computer, might add it later) get your client updated. AFter updating you can either cancel,start game or Full Check (full check can solve all client problems cuz it scans if you got all the files).

ohh well they must be under some heavy ass load or something ill just d/l the client overnight at 11k/s *cries* and hopei can get on the site in the morning

Actually not the whole client is in Chinese (thats the Taiwan language). There is a option the set a nice part of the game in English. Monster/NPC/Item names are all English. Only the speak of NPCs and Quests are Taiwanese.
But you can download an Un-Official patch ( download it at http://web2.249088.vserver.de/) which adds lots of English info to your client (some quests translated as well as NPC texts and many more) and fixes a bug that effect players that use the English Client version. Though not everything is translated it isnt hard to find out how stuff works. And if you do got a problem go to the Forums of http://l2.orphus.com/ . Here a many people that can help you out. And even ingame you will find enough English speaking ppl to help you out.

yeah same here with the d/l i allready got the game, patched it, started it and all i can see on the acc-creation page is the logo in the upperleft corner, danngit!!!
if anyone got a spare acc. for poor irnaii, pm me pls

The game has some problem right now. I dont know exactly what causes it but many ppl get very fast disconnections or cant move when they're logged in. I logged in a few times myselve and wasnt able to move. But I'll look through some forums and let you guys know the problem.
I also forgot to mention. EVERYONE PLAY SERVER 222222222222222222!!!!!!!
Cant stress this enough cuz a large English Lineage 2 community is going to play server 2. So if you want ppl to easyly party with or talk go server 2 =P
okay, stupid joke: there are only 8 servers, how are we supposed to play on # 222222222222222222!!!!!!
anyway, i got my game setup and will try to get to server 2 now, see yall ingame

Site still isnt working for me! And what is the largest game thinking running only 7 servers! Im gonna hopefully download the client and get the English translation patch hopefully I can register soon!

they have a sever(massivly severe) lag issue atm
They are working on it I belive, and there may be some more servers added, as well they may have hte make some updates or somthing...
after 6 or so years, I had to change it a little...
