Great patch so far. I have literally zero stuttering now it's great performance wise.. can not believe it myself. I'm curious to see how it looks in the evening and weekend and on Siege days. Big step in the right direction.

Now replace that epic music with a bunch of squealing memelords and people making racist commentary in a discord in the background and you'll have the whole picture. The community for this game is awful.

Not all of them are bad, of course, but given the nature of the game and the communities that get built around it, there's a ton of terrible that comes with it. That's half the reason they always die off. They breed awful communities and die slow and painful deaths because of it.

So you bought the game and participated in the community?
What you report here is first hand knowledge?

Mortal Online 2 is the best vision of what an mmorg can be. The visuals, crafting systems, exploration, sense of fear and pvp are all AAA quality. MO2 is probably the only real AAA mmo in terms of features. No other game comes close to it.

We have to deal with awful players in nearly every MO game now, I used to consider in game community as a big factor in what I would play, but now that is a pointless consideration. Unless perhaps you intend to stick to MMOs that are supposedly made for adults but look like they were made for pre-teens.

Maybe it´ s you? The people I met where all friendly and very helpful. I am honest, I have not played that very much (around 100 hrs) but yeah...no one griefed, no one peed on me, no racists...I even got gold and a plentora of stuff and hints from totally unknown people.

I am really excited to see that TC is finally here. Sadly no one of my friends plays MO2. But maybe TC convinces them now.

Like most PvP Full loot games, it's pretty polarizing.  I really enjoy it and recommend people give it a go, if you're into pvp full loot.  If not, you're going to have a bad experience if you're expecting a more structured and less cutthroat game.

As you can read in the comments, there are a lot of haters.  Most sound like they don't play, but that usually doesn't stop a good hater.  Try it for yourself and see.  Don't let people like me, who really enjoy it or the haters stop you.  With the keys, it's a win/win.  Like it good, don't like it good.  It didn't cost you anything.

The community for the most part is pretty good.  You've got plenty of people in chat who will help or give good advice.  More so, since the early days.  There is a recogniztion by many, that being helpful will help player retention in a game that can and is pretty brutal.  Discord is a bit different, but you've gotta remember that it isn't just people who play.  With a game with many haters, they love popping in and causing trouble.  Some people wanna and like to see the world burn.
