Make a new forum for the help me pick a game threads. There seems to be an overabundance of them lately.

Yes I am also thinkin of making my own personal help me pick thread cause Ive researched the hell outta games and blah blah blah

    I agree, and those "help me pick a new game" threads hardly ever help anyone decide on a game. One person will suggest WoW, the next person will say WOW sucks, play Eve" ect...ect....

    So I suggest they go read up on some games they are intrested in and decide for themselves.

    I think i'm going to make a post on all the information of each game, then hope it gets stickied. THis way, if someone wants to know something, they can just check the sticky for prices, etc.

    Yeah thats why people never ask for help finding a free game, there isn't a sticky!
    Oh wait...

    Also theres the problem of maintaining said list when games change, or just keeping it updated.

    I agree, new forum or something. I don't really mind but a lot of traffic seems dedicated to it.

    A lot of that information can be found in the games list; it just takes a lot of digging. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to really be enough, except possibly for the games with actual reviews. (Yes, I've contributed to the flood of help-me-pick-a-game posts, and I'm still debating among several.)

    petition? its more like an observation, you see a lot of these types of threads just on the first page. Its just so that a "general discussion"  can occur. These "help me pick" threads are a niche and like a niche should go into their own forum dedicated to this

    OP, this is a good idea.  Like to suggest another method.  We should all get together to loudly and unanimously proclaim to any such request the answer Dungeons and Dragons online...
