Season of Blah. Call me when you add sets or some other compelling reasons to continue this game past World Tier 3. Right now it's just grind to get the exact same gear you had before with +1 stats so you can bump up your Nightmare Dungeon Tier so you can get the same gear you had before with +1 stats. I realize literally every ARPG out there eventually devolves into this pattern at some point but D4 hits it very early, and for me I just start mentally calculating how long it's going to take to get to level 100 (nevermind tier 100) and I just come to the conclusion that I have better things to do. I didn't have this issue with D3 because the item sets which drastically altered your gameplay were a compelling thing to go find. Complete a set and wow now your character has completely different gameplay. Complete the next setand it changes again. That's interesting and fun. Just running the same attack rotation for weeks or months endlessly is not interesting to me no matter how big the numbers get on the screen.

Anything short of a complete overhaul to the game will not motivate me to play again.

I don't think they even know what needs to be done.

Myself I was exited when D4 came out and atm I did not even finish the current Season, It just felt boring to me. Blizzard needs to up the game with the new season, man D4 has potential but dear lord the dev's need to get some real work done with the next season...

No. Go away. You Diablo 3 players and your obsession with dumbed down cookie cutter sets won't have my baby, too.

Probably the least interesting loot system in all arpgs.

No excitement seeing a drop, and almost a need to keep a spreadsheet of what you have to be able to tell if its an upgrade or not.

Nice game, ruined by tedious loot systems and a constant need to restrain the game in order to serve live service elements. A game thats at its best when fighting rooms full of mobs that restrains the amount of mobs allowed, a game that has a vast world which mostly exists to slow down your journey from point to point just to facilitate using mounts.

If ARPGS were a sport, Diablo is the Video Assistant Referee.

Some do. I expect the degree of remaining interest will be more apparent when the next season starts as some who have finished the current one may be taking a break until the next.

Yes. The ever so imaginative vampire season. How original. Coming from malignant tunnels to bleeding. Describes this game through and through.

Yup. Have zero desire to come back to this game, unless they completely revamp the entire itemization system, improve leveling activities in overland zone and inventory management.

What would also be nice, if they actually fix the classes, so more builds and variants are actually viable and fun to play. Like Druid pet builds for example, which have been completely broken since launch.

I had a blast playing up to level 50 doing the story campaign, Did it twice with both Druid and Barb.
After that, entering Tier 3 and it turned immediately into a borefest of a game I had no desire continue playing.

Unlike Diablo 3, where I pretty much participated in nearly every Season.

My interest tapered off so much after finishing the campaign that I done uninstalled D4. I check out news and stuff about it from time to time and still feel no desire to bother reinstalling it.
