Good changes into the right direction.

But the steam reviews will be wild indeed. Bashing companies like Blizzard or EA at every turn has become integral part of the Gen Z lifestyle.

Too little, too late. They are not going to win back many of the people who were driven away by Season 1.

And let's be honest, despite the numerical adjustments, this season looks very much like a copy-paste of last season in terms of design. Collect a resource to power up your gear so you can collect more resource, ad nauseam. Only the names have changed.

You mean "bashing shitty companies at every shitty turn they take". Not sure why involving any "gen", like older people don't have brains or what?

The actual Season 2 mechanics seem boring AF. Everything else which is not locked to Seasons and could have been a patch at any point, actually has a lot of good things

Blizzard gets routinely blasted no matter what or how well they are currently doing. It means absolutely nothing as it has been a constant for years on end.

What I'm interesting in seeing is the player turnout when the next season starts as I imagine many are finished the current one. They may be taking a break until the next.

Or maybe the vast majority have already moved on and won't be coming back. We'll know soon enough.

Blizzard used to be the "go to" company for a good game. Then Activision-Kotick decided to change that.

If D4 had been doing well, it would of never come to Steam. Kotick doesn't like sharing profits after all. Since the player numbers have been tanking, and this game is essentially a Lost Ark Clone, jumping to Steam is a desperate attempt to get more players involved.

I mean, all good and that , but .. D4 coming to Steam has literally zero reasons to do with .. not doing well, since the Steam integration takes a lot of time to do and so I am sure they build it with that in mind.

And calling it a Lost Ark clone .. please put some glasses on, ok? Thanks!

Also D4 sold very very well. I'm sure they are.."alright" as of now.

About S2, I see good changes in the right direction. Whoever sees otherwise, well ... maybe its time to move on?

There are many things still .. which needs to be addressed, but I hope they will deliver since the...base its there. D4 has the best animation, fighting, etc in all ARPGs out there.

Looking forward for S2 and beyond. Please add my Monk in the future expension(s), as it was my getgo in D3.

At least here they need to purchase D4 in order to review it.

Very different than Overwatch 2 :D

So we might not get a score like 2/10 , etc !

At this point i don't think reviews matter for the game, Activision and Bobby got what they wanted, the few fans hanging on will still play.

I got the stuff that mattered out of the experience when it was fresh, i was happy with the story, the replay/end-game experience was just not for me.

Diablo 5 announced in 3-5 years from now, and bobby will repeat the cycle of what he did to Call of Duty.

It is indisputable that D4 sold well. However, that only means more players were frustrated and disillusioned when the endgame and seasonal content turned out to be TERRIBLE. Blizzard burned a lot of good will with their extremely bad design choices on those fronts.

D4 already did well. What remains to be seen is if D4 Seasons will also. Current player count is irrelevant to that success. All that matters is the amount of Seasons purchased each time they are on sale.
