    That is inaccurate. It actually had a successful launch with very active servers and great PVP action. It went down-hill with failed promises, bad changes and penguin suits.

    Not the only time that's happened, it shows how you can make a good game but subsequently drive it into the ground with poor decision making. This happens to an extent with all MMOs in the long run, bad choices add up over the years, it becomes a matter of how the choices balance out. Aion went south rapidly, I can remember joining the game a few weeks after launch and was still considering if I wanted to stay in it when the first guild members started to leave.
