Pete Hines, the Senior Vice President of Publishing for Bethesda Softworks, announced his retirement today on social media. The gaming executive has worked at the publisher for 24 years, helping to bring to life a multitude of games across the decades.

    I never really knew that much about him, only that not a lot of people liked him, which I'm not sure why.

    Unlike with Bobby, I too didn't get this whole Pete hate. Why did people hate him?

    I am not sure why we are concentrating on the man, the fact people are leaving is rather more salient.

    For a moment the article image had me thinking that was Steve Pemberton . I've been rewatching some recent seasons of Midsomer Murders and he's in S19.04. The dude has been in a ton of stuff though, League of Gentlemen and one-offs in loads of serials.

    I now return you to your regularly scheduled social flogging. :lol:

    People to me, especially in this context, isn't singular.  It's a general definition.  Regardless of how you interpret it, anyone/thing with /considerable influence over games is worth noting...
