Diablo 4 Season of Blood is On, and The Game is Part of This Weekend's Xbox Free Play Days | MMORPG.com
Season of Blood is underway in Diablo 4. There's also a Xbox Free Play Days weekend starting today, that includes Diablo 4 without paid membership needed.
Uninstalled the game long ago will never reinstall it. Frankly the only reason you had so many people play season 1 is because they all pre-purchased the versions with the included battlepass. Now that people gotta pay for it, and now that the dev team has shown itself to be inept, I seriously doubt S2 will have anything more than a small fraction of the first season players.
The battle pass was included in the price if you bought a Digital or Deluxe pack. Was not included in the standard pack.So you say you paid £80 or £90. Did you not like the game which is okay but you played a whole season 3 months long with a game you hate just because when you bought the game there was a battle pass? Wow. Haters are so smart and logical these days, I hope you left a nice negative review on steam, if not please do, catch the train. The game is far from awesome but enjoyable.
Maybe I was wrong. But I never would waste my time to write about a game I'm not playing because I don't like on forums that hey, this game is bad. How negative my life could be. Fortunately, people are different. I hope you will find the game you like and just focus on good things. I still enjoy my time with friends in Diablo 4 season 2.
I booted the game up again to see if they had learned anything from the first season. I will be the first to say that I didn't think they would, but in reality the game feels a lot better.
The season mechanics are actually fun this time unlike last season. You gain power the more you play. You can slot 5 different powers out of a bunch of new passive vampire powers on top of your normal passives. My favorite has been one that damages all mobs every 4 seconds. It can wipe groups in no time when you also open with an AOE attack.
The story itself actually feels better this time around also. The only issue I have is tying the finish tier 1,2,3 etc... to continue the story.
All in all I feel like I am gaining levels faster, the damage for all the skills actually feels right, the new event that changes areas every hours lets you keep everything when it moves, really just better all around.
I know they burned bridges with a lot of people with the last season as it felt like something that was just thrown together and tacked on, and the nerfs, but I would say if you are on the fence, give it a try now. At worse you will not enjoy it and can just uninstall it.

The players were the ones raising torches so if any burning of bridges happened they are the ones that did it.
Blizzard was instead focused on trying to make this season better than the last as well as adding some quality of life improvements to the game.
I feel they accomplished that as you seem to also.
Improvements for certain. The world feels more packed with mobs, loot seems abundant and varied, still a lonely planet and long dungeons. Steps in the right direction at first but I have always said this, it looks and feels like a glorified mobile game. Once you see that you just cannot unsee it.
Then it's to my good fortune that I've never seen D4 as a mobile game whatsoever.
I have trouble getting into any game that level matches whatever zone you're in. If I cleared a zone at lvl 10 and return at lvl 20, it shouldn't suddenly become a lvl 20 zone.

There's a downside to your attitude, though. That is you end up with a game that gets smaller the higher level you are until you are at max level and have a tiny portion of the game you can play in because everything else is 'gray' to you, doesn't reward xp, and doesn't drop anything worthwhile or anything at all depending on the implementation. I prefer games that the entire world stays relevant the whole game. That way I don't feel trapped in a tiny corner of this massive world for the majority of my character's career since logically your character spends more time at max level than not at max level.
When they attached the battle pass to seasons only instead eternal as well they lost me. I hate being forced to reroll each season for a battlepass I paid for so I can get some cosmetics.

I would support the game each season if it was fun or even close to what was expected of Diablo in 2023. The game still doesn't have Diablo and you will have to pay for it.
Diablo 4 Season of Blood is unleashing a wave of excitement among gamers, and its inclusion in this weekend's Xbox Free Play Days is a treat for fans. The dark, immersive world of Diablo is set to captivate players once again, and this event is the perfect opportunity to dive into the demon-slaying action. A blood-pumping experience for both series veterans and newcomers! https://ultimateapparels.com/black-leather-jackets-sale

There's a downside to that attitude. It allows the developer to become lazy because the world is always your level. Why add new zones and expansions if the old zones will always be as difficult as your character need them to be. There are ways that they can keep the game difficult without resorting to this.
It also sucks for the purpose of farming low level recourses and helping friends.
GW2 did this and I hated it. It will be the main reason I don't play.
