Until the developers take NTFs off, I won't touch it. I won't be fooled by this nonsense. It is surprising to me there are still people who support this scam.

The more developers try to explain the "benefits" of blockchain in gaming, the more hideously toxic it sounds.

nah, man, there aren't misconceptions about web3/NFTs. the reality is that the technology is purely lacking, and the games developing into it are lower quality yet more expensive. it's totally backward.

I feel like there's two things going on here. I feel like they've been backing off selling blockchain. I would suspect on most gaming sites they probably would prefer it not even be mentioned. But on the other hand, they keep selling land plots and probably have profited or at least had a huge boost to their development from selling their land and badges.

The only thing I can really say compared to other kickstarted games is that at least the people running the show have gaming experience. I guess we'll see what happens when launch gets closer.

I am seeing words Iike blockchain, NFT, rug pulls, founder packs, land sales, transactions , crypto wallets, Web3, Ember Tokens, browser based, play to earn...

Thats not the kinda of stuff I want to hear about in a game.

This is garbage, plain and simple, and smelly.. A game should speak for itself, not by the ways it is trying to steal your money. These guys can go to hell.

When people already know the details of Web3.0 and what the aim for it is, there really isn't any misconceptions or confusing.

They are not doing themselves any favors.

As best as I can tell, Ember Sword no longer says "blockchain" or "NFT" on their game site at all.  Perhaps they've figured out that that scares off everyone but crypto speculators who have zero interest in the game itself.  Instead, they prefer talking about "true ownership".

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. The game is free and without knowing it's a Blockchain game people probably wouldn't even know by playing it. Makes sense they want most gamers to forget and try it before making a judgement.
