personally I say good guys, probably because I play dwarfs. No offense, but I wouldn't play Orcs, nothing bad about Orcs, because the more greenskins there are, the more I can kill. I say no to play Orcs because the majority of people who will play will probably end up playing Orcs. If I had to guess, I would say 40-50% of the players will be Orcs, that's just what I think. People see them as strong, cool looking, evil, but in a comical way, not too serious and demonic, just cartoony evil in a way. And Orcs and goblins just look awesome, and they have a wide variety of options, GW didn't pull any punches when they made the greenskins, so playing them will mean that you're just in the mainstream, don't be afraid to be different. Chaos, strong, stout, elite combat army with awesome magic, few numbers, pack a punch, big time. Dark elves won't win an armwrestinling contest, but are really swift and sneaky. They are good assassins, evil, cunning, magical, just cool. High elves are the epitamy of good. With virtues and honor, their valor surpasses most armies. They are also swift and agile, good swordsmanship and good magic, the arch nemesis of the dark elves. Then humans, the Empire. A good mix of everything, nothing too special to me, just, well, the Empire. And then Dwarfs, ah the dwarfs. With beards, axes, ale, mines, strongholds, and dwarfs actually used to rule the old warhammer world, for you people who didn't know. Then the mountains shifted due to earthquakes and volcanoes, thank you Slann Mage Priests.... Then the skaven (rats) and greenskins came and started to diminish the power of the dwarfs. The dwarfs are stout, resolute, slow (lol), amazing engineers, good artillery, the bravest of any race, never forget grudges, and will fight to the end, no matter what the cost. Basically it's chaos vs. empire, dark elves vs. high elves, and one of the oldest blood fued in all of warhammer, dwarfs vs. greenskins. I play dwarfs in warhammer, and i absolutely love them. I've played for about 6 years I think, and hardly ever lost, not bragging, it's just that dwarfs are an amazing army. Some people will say that with the old rules in warhammer (i know i'm getting off topic, it's just that you need background, and a good story never hurts, just bear with me), anywho, back the old dwarf rules in warhammer, many people say that the old rules made it hard for dwarfs to win, i beg to differ. I thought they were exceptionally well, and now probably even more balanced and fun to play. So, if you're into dragons, magic, agility, mysticness, go with elves. Pure evil, chaos. Humans...., enough said, lol. Greenskins, cool, strong, pretty straight foward, comical evil. And my beloved dwarfs, stout and filled with valor. Well I guess that's about it, and i must say, this is one really, really long post. Sorry, lol. But I don't think i was too bias, do you....?
I've never played Warhammer, though I've seen it played so many times in the past. I'm itching to get out on the battlefield with my Battleaxe and cleave some orcs in half! I'm crazy like that...
I just hope it doesn't become anything like DAoC is now. Folks not helping each other out, telling people to search this website or that one instead of just saying "It's over here at bla, bla, bla.". I can't even get into groups with my Druid becuase I didn't follow one of the templates for them. Frag that drek chummers... (yea, I'm a shadowrunner too)
I might just drop DAoC for Warhammer, if it catches my fancy. I'll see ya'll on the battlefield.

dark elves: sadistic SOBs they like pain and murder its kind of creepy
high elves: arrogent SOBs think there better then everyone but got tons of wizards
orks/gobbos: ummmm.... thug smash! nuf said
empire humans: let me think well ther a germanic people and they have wizards and guns and they hate chaos
chaos humans: ok let me see there well... chaos they have deamons and chaotic magic and well i dont like them
dwarves: short, have beards, guns, engineering, no magic, and there slow but there tough and strong... and well there the coolest species in all the warhammer world.
Evil is the way to go, as I remember in WoW, Horde always won in PvP on probably 90% of the servers, yes there were a few in which alliance actually did well, but in comparison Horde pwned!
Sounds like someone hates WoW....lol. I don't personally play it, never have, but you seem to have a personal vendetta against the thing, lol. By the way, do you play warhammer?

i like the agile and sneaky thing of dark elf cloakers etc it's just me
