Out of G-Star today, Netmarble has released a new trailer for RF Online Next. Continuing in the path of the original RF Online, Netmarble's release is going big. Expect large scale, sci-fi realm versus realm conflict (and giant robots) that builds on the legacy of the franchise.

Just another shallow game with a pretty coat of paint. It's the new get rich scheme popularized by devs from that part of the world.

I don't trust anyone to even understand how to recapture the magic of this game; i don't even think it's possible.

Rising Force Online was where i learned the cruel nature of pvp for the first time and the addictive rush of the zergs.

Back then, depending on the PC setup, you knew when a PvP zerg was coming your way, because the fps would dip a litte, and then a lot, and then you are dead. xD

I loved calling the robots 'dirty toasters'

I played the original RF Online and liked it. The only thing I didn't like about it was it was abused by bots who got in the way. PVP was a scheduled looped event (I could be wrong, it's been a long time). You can choose to participate or not. But it was the main focus of the game I think. The PvE part was just getting your character stronger, and grinding for materials for a chance at upgrading your gear.

This new one looks nice; but I will wait until we have game play reviews, and if it comes to the West.

Oh god yes, the botting was pretty nuts; i mean it was really grindy, especially that whole skill leveling part that pretty much had to be done in-town and you'd just sit there cultivating for.....just years it felt like.
