The MMORPG Tarisland, originally advertised as the pinnacle of a "No Pay-to-Win MMO" has recently been embroiled in a controversy regarding its monetization model which includes accusations of it being pay-to-win.

Vigor systems are not good for anyone but the devs. It is a way to make money by selling potions or other items to get around it.
yup, that's exactly what mobile games do. Mobile games will also sell you the materials that you'd essentially be using the 'stamina' for as well, but say its just 'convenience' since you a way of earning them through gameplay (while also leaving out the part that you can only earn so many per event).
I guess it all depends on what you mean by "win"

As globalization increases, I feel like corporations share and adopt practices to compete with each other so we see them all eventually use similar tactics for given region.
