We already have "single player MMOs" like Xenoblade Chronicles, Kingdoms of Amalur, and Dragon Age Inquisition. As in single player games designed like MMOs.
Every game you named is over 5 (if not 10) years old. Don't you think it's time for a new entry?
I'm having a hard time getting past the character graphics and artwork.
Yeah that's been a sticking point for a few folks. Truth be told, I'm solo and not a modeller so I'm using purchased assets. I've had to sacrifice a bit of vision to get a cohesive, non-clashing art style.
So in essence a single player MMORPG. Well that's just a stupid idea. What's next a first person side scroller?
I just don't get it.
If you closed your eyes and used your imagination for a minute you’d realize your suggestion is actually good!
Yeah and eating soup with chop sticks is a great idea.
I imagine such a game would be like mirror’s edge but sort of a first person side scroller. Fast movement, jumping, dropping, quick reverse. So forwards and backwards up and down. It would be like an arcade game.
It would be good.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
Rather than fight over first person versus third person, let's compromise, split the difference, and have a second person perspective. You see the world from the perspective of the enemy that you're fighting at the time.
