Trailer leak. It figures. The trailer, itself? Looks... amazing! I'm glad to see a return to Vice City and I can't wait to play. That said, I had to roll my eyes at the 'social media' portion of the trailer. Not excited about whatever that is.
Looks amazing, but I just can't get into roleplaying a criminal. Same reason I couldn't finish RDR2. Even if you try to be a good guy the game eventually forces you into being an evil piece of shit, so I just quit. You guys enjoy, though.
idk how people think it "looks amazing", nothing was shown. Do you also watch videos of CG characters just walking around and think it "looks amazing"?
that was suppose to "break" the internet ???? stop ....... nothing there made me say to myself .... oh . i need to play that now !! but whatever , maybe some like annoying voice acting and stuff like that .....

It's called a teaser trailer, not a gameplay trailer. What dafuq did you expect?!

Not entirely sure why some people were thinking this would get a launch day PC port.....The funnier thing is this will come out 1-2 years before the next gen consoles if past is prologue to new gen releases.....
Well, im certainly excited for GTA6, with the usual reservations :P
I loved GTAV, I think it was one of the best single player action/adventure games ever made. Amazing world, fun story and it still looks amazing!
My only real criticism of GTAV was a lack of sandbox features. It was a lovely open world themepark, but when I finished the relatively short story.....I wanted to keep playing! But there just wasn't anything to do. This was then made worse by Rockstar never updating the single player game, all of their new features were only added to the online game. I understand why (money), but man, they could have made loads of money off of me selling sandbox DLC for the single player game.
So, I have high expectations for GTA6, but i also expect to be highly disappointed when they inevitably announce the online portion of the game.

Keep in mind this was the trailer slated for The Game Awards on Dec 7th, so i'm happy Rockstar's hand was forced by a leaker. Think of the millions of potential viewers Geoff Keighley and his ragtag group of advertisers just lost.
The trailer got 100million views in just a day, and just on the main Rockstar channel.
That's an untold millions of viewers who may have watched The Game Awards on the 7th just for that teaser trailer. Think of how many people don't have to sit through hours of hell and stupid shenanigans just for a GTA6 trailer.
I'm pretty happy, and i hope the leaker wins the lottery.

Wouldn't the trailer trailer have been released outside of game awards anyway? Most likely immediately after being shown on game awards?
I don't think we have "untold millions" of GTA fans passionate enough about the game to spend hours watching game awards just for the GTA trailer when any sensible person knows the trailer will soon be all over net anyway.
So, what platform is everyone here going to play it on, Xbox or PlayStation? Or will you wait even longer for the PC release?
I'll be waiting for the PC release
Mostly because I don't own an xbox or playstation, but also because the PC experience is the best
There is always GTA Online until then, and it isn't like R* is going to shut that down anytime soon.
There is speculation that GTA6 will hit PCs sooner than GTA5 and Red Dead 2 did, just because GTAOnline is already built out. It could just be hopeful thinking by PC players in the sub, people think it could be as soon as 12 - 18 months after launch because they think R* won't want to leave the extra revenue on the table. The claim is that it would still be far enough out that core fans will buy both a console and PC copy.
I understand the sentiment. Immersive experiences can be hindered when a game seems to push a predetermined narrative, especially if it conflicts with personal preferences. It's all about finding games that resonate with your playstyle. Enjoy your gaming journey, and may you discover titles aligning better with your preferred role!
This is a tough one but I am voting adbot, not reporting though, do repost if you are a real person.
This game is going to make mass amounts of money. People I know are already chomping at the bit and waiting for 2025 to roll around.
Even though the visuals are impressive, most friends and family I've talked to just want more Rockstar story and replay.
my favorite part of rockstar games is when I take one step out of the developer-defined path and fail the mission
This is why I can't play their games very much, I always want to step outside the lines and explore. I much prefer open world games, and don't really like it when the game says "do this one thing now, or you can't do anything else in the game".

That's when I usually quit.
But that's on and off, the game is not like that most of the time and its not as bad as say Far Cry. Both of these are favs for me.

Now, I didn't actually manage to play through GTA V, so we will see with this one whenever it comes out.
