Diablo...I am guessing people were just checking a box and didn't play.
Game was trash at start.
Devs made small improvements.
Devs Nerf.
Devs Nerf.
Devs Nerf.
Fanbase drops and lots of complaints.
Devs make improvements
Devs continue making mistakes with improvements like incorrect math in trailers and in their own formulas.
Devs created Helltides, then Green Helltides in season 2, then Blue helltides for seasonal events. "New enemies" are reskinned old enemies.
They change itemization so the best builds come down a notch and the worst builds gain ground, and now everyone is a Lightning Sorceror because it melts bosses. Great job again.
Devs add new end game which is complained about immediately because it takes too long, even though the people complaining are the ones that complained they had nothing else to do anyways. This all gets nerfed the next day. Quality QA by Blizzard clearly.
POE is still way better than this game.
Sorry but while I agree D4 is a disappointment POE is not the answer. I hate that game for many reasons which I won't bother going into here. Side note those reasons are largely addressed in POE 2 so I'm very much looking forward to that. Anyway there are many other choices for an ARPG than D4 or POE. It's not like if you hate one you're stuck with the other. Go play Last Epoch. Go play Grim Dawn. I recently played through Titan Quest Anniversary edition and was reminded how good that game is. Got it on an 80% off Steam sale. Fantastic game for that price.

Would be nice if they shared the actually tally like MoP does.
Do you even need to be a poster here to vote, I don't think so, there may be a lot more votes than we have guys on here.
To be fair, we have a lot more readers than regular posters on here, so yea you don't need to be a forums poster to have a vote, just a reader of the site (which is how most site player polls operate).
As far as sharing the results, I'm trying to see if Google Forms has a way for us to do it since this isn't built into our CMS like it appears MOP's is - our CMS is archaic, even with the site glow-up a few years ago. I will say, the MMO of the Year, BDO won with 62.8% of the vote (with a total of 1176 responses), Best Expansion was won with 57.2% of the vote (with 1097 responses), and BG3 won Best RPG with 54.2% of the vote (with only 878 responses there).
For Best ARPG, Diablo IV won with 31.7% of the total vote (Path of Exile got 24.9%; Burger King got a single vote, so you know, do with that what you will).
Once I figure out a way for the results to be made public, the article should be updated, but hopefully that will give some insight into how the voting went.

Yeah you have to be logged in, but there are tons of throwaway accounts I assume.
We use Google Forms, so you don't need an MMORPG.com account to vote, just be a reader of the site and find the poll. I'm hoping to change this for 2024 as I would much prefer everything be handled in the CMS, but it's just not built in right now (and this is still somewhat of a holdover from the Bill Era that needs to be revamped a bit). But yea, either way, there are always going to be a ton of throwaway accounts, and not every who voted cast their vote in every category. We got over 1500 responses, but not ever category got over 1500 votes since we don't require a vote for each one.

Keep it so people aren't required to vote in every category, I normally won't vote in any category if I haven't played a game or ever even.
While I agree BG3 is best RPG, I would not vote for it as such seeing I've never tried it.
