When they did the fresh servers, I considered jumping in and checking it out, but my life got crazy.

    I regret it a little.

Why would the Community Manager be the one having meetings with Daybreak? SSG stupidity intensifies.
It makes sense from a marketing standpoint. With Cord as basically the face and voice of SSG for LotRO and DDO, he should be involved with the marketing and community outreach planning.

Notably, Cord didn't say he was the only one who went out there, just that *he* did and had marketing meetings to solidify 2024 plans. Sev could have also gone to talk to execs about the over studio strategy for all we know - though that's just a guess on my part. We just know of Cord's trip, if he wasn't the only one, that is.

Community Manager is a limiting title for what Cord actually does on that team overally.

What gets me is looking at the video, Lotro still looks "good enough" after 16 years to me, yet so many games that come out these days I am rejecting because the graphics are below par. What happened? I can't just blame indie because many of the games are not made by indie studios!

Anyway off topic and of to get my coffee. :)
