wat is the best free download manager?(i need it to help download stuff over my 56k modem(livin in the counrty sucks, no hi-speed internet!))

    I just use the DownThemAll extension for Firefox. It has a download manager and a customizable function to download every link, .jpg, .gif, whatever you want from a page. Granted, I don't actually use anything but the manager much, but it'd theoretically be terrific to copy an entire webpage with the click of a button. I'm certain there are other download managers for Firefox, too. I hug Firefox and Thunderbird daily. <%Deity> smiles on open source code!  I swear, I have no idea how I survived on the net before Mozilla was formed.

    EDIT: Fixed the link. It didn't want to connect directly to the Mozilla site with the extensions, so I just linked the programmer's page.

    DownloadThemAll rocks and, yes, Mozilla is part of the Google, Linux, Mozilla AXIS OF EVIL.

    Bah, Mozilla, Firefox, bah. Opera is the only browser worth using. Had pretty much all the features of Firefox, only it had them about 6 years ago
