    Former player here, don't start this mess of a game. Story is incoherent because half of it is missing or the presentation itself is lacking. Game play is powercrept to hell. FOMO is the main mechanic behind everything. Save yourself and play something that doesn't cost so much for so little a year

    The new player experience is horrible. I’ve tried so many times since the gunplay is fun. But you literally are playing a story that makes zero sense since you are randomly placed into it.

    This above, the combat is fun but they sunset some of the DLC I had actually bought before I could play through all of it.

    Until they unsunset/unvault my paid for content they can suck it, I don't think that will ever happen though.

    I am not talking about "seasonal" stuff either but full on expansion content you had to buy.

    Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

    Yeah, they deleted some of my favorite casual play areas.  Deleted paid DLC.  Screwed the pooch.  I understand the game engine is a disaster to work with, but that's their issue.

    All the folks I know who used to play have moved on.

    The best way to start, at least the way I see it, is to avoid Destiny 2 and play something else.

    Yea agree. Pretty poor write up. It's easy to play and PVP and get loot, but as other posts say, the story is so incoherent and chopped-up it's hard to know what to do or where to go. I was really enjoying how they progressed the story until they decided to make is spaghetti.
