    From what I understand there was an unfortunate occurrence in the second one. From where I sit that should have only come at the end. It changes the whole feel of the thing and is a bit of a kick in the face for the fans.

    Given that, I don't really understand why people would want a third but perhaps there were people who loved the second?

    Great! Another wonderful chance for a self-insert! And to make the original fans hate you even more, hehe.

    I'm looking forward to all the unnecessary drama that this would most likely create. I'll get my popcorn ready, just in case they decide to go ahead with the idea.

    There is in fact only one TLOU game as far as I'm concerned. It needs no sequels.

    From my understanding from speaking with some TLOU fans, the first game was pretty much perfect and open-ended.

    so this kind of feels like Sony being Sony; but i'm def an outsider who is looking in, so i have no idea how sincere any of this is.

    All i know is that Kojima keeps making awesome game experiences, so a Naughty Dog game isn't exactly on my radar most of the time.

    Just Haters plain and simple Last of us 1 and 2 of some of the top games around in animation story telling and gameplay and its not even close. last of us 2 is insane like a John wick sims. They can cry all they want. The game is TOP TIER for a reason and its not going anywhere.

    TLOU feels like it’s suffering from over saturation already. The first game was cool because building a bond with an NPC works really well(like the dog in fable 2). The second one just felt like too much pretentious ‘I’m an arteeest’ stuff. Id rather have something new or uncharted.
