Minecraft-type game?

LithuanianLithuanian Member UncommonPosts: 559
Hello, folks,

I have one question about minecraft-type games.
Recently discovered some flash-type games resembling Minecraft. Idea looked cool, I even managed to build my own 1-store hut.
Now, I would like to try some real game where I could save my progress and experiment with building.
Looking for minecraft-type game thart is:
Free to play
No PvP (not like being ganked)
Preferably - good community that won't destroy my hard work, just because noobs should be owned.
Any ideas?

Just buy Minecraft. None of the alternatives give as good experience.

If you absolutely must get something for free, then try either Trove or Roblox, but they're poor substitutes.

    Could try Creativerse: https://store.steampowered.com/app/280790/Creativerse/

It's currently free to play, however, they are planning to go back to a buy to play model (they originally started that way). So if you try it and like it; My understanding is that buying anything would get you the game when it goes buy to play.

Specifics on the business model change are discussed in: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/280790/view/6187408300313244562

    Regarding your feature list:

    • Free to play - Currently is, but will change as described above
    • No PvP (not like being ganked) - Worlds can disable PvP. Can run your own world with PvP disabled.
    • Preferably - good community - I've found the community to be pretty good, but as with anything online, there are occasional aholes. Various server settings can limit their impact greatly though (no-PvP, no building/destroying on land you haven't claimed, etc)

you can play Roblox because it's more similar to Minecraft. Roblox is the best gaming platform where you can make your own game.

Trove is a very fun game that is Minecraft'esque.  You have a personal island that you can build, and can build a house that you can 'take' around on adventures.  It's populated and pretty fun.

Check out Terraria on steam. It is not FTP but just $10.00 and on sale often too.

Is a co-op/single player game. Can make servers.

Do the YouTube thing, look at some gameplay vids see what you think. I never liked Minecraft, but spent many, many hours in Terraria.

Creativerse used to be good until they changed things around. It's still the same game though and does some things better than Minecraft. But it's not Minecraft.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.

There is such a game as Brickadia. Something like Minecraft, also with wide possibilities

Hi @Scot, I have resolved the issue with the help of this article. Actually there were logged-in in different ID in Microsoft store. So for that reason the problem was happening. As per to the article's suggestion, I signed in Xbox app and Microsoft store with the same ID and then reinstalled the game, the problem was solved.

I did not get any such kind of error message. Thanks.
