Regarding relics, I'd argue that grind does not equal difficulty. There's never really been any prestige attached to relics in terms of skill. Whenever it has been "difficult," it only represents that you're willing to endure a grind. Why is that something to be proud of?

I hate excessive grind, but to be fair, this time the requirement was literally only "have 1500 of the currently lower-tier endgame currency." You can grind that out in three days of dailies and/or a really good day or two of bounty hunt train tracking. I hope they find a balance with Dawntrail.

I still don't understand why people think it needs to be more than that, though. If they aren't willing to make it actually challenging, I'd rather just pay my tomestones and move on with my life. I see it as a reward for hitting max level. Spending hours and hours doing something like Eureka just feels like a waste of everyone's time, developers and players alike.
Don't get me wrong -- if they can make it fun, I don't mind spending some time on it. But Eureka grinding was a huge step back, even from the original ARR relics, in terms of interesting content.
