To celebrate Final Fantasy XIV finally coming over to Xbox in a week, Microsoft is giving away a one-of-a-kind Xbox Series X console outfitted for the MMO. Except it doesn't work.

    Wow, why though?

    They could have just created a custom FFXIV console that functions, but instead it has to be this vanity object that showcases how up it's own butt Xbox truly is sometimes.

    Indeed, why bother making something functional when some youtuber will probably take it upon themselves to make it work instead, generating extra publicity.

    I admit this looks cool, but who'd want to buy a non functioning console? How can they call it a console if it's none functional? Oxymorons....
