The latest expansion heading to Final Fantasy XIV, Dawntrail, is now available for pre-order, and amidst the excitement there are server crashes and queue times for those trying to log in.

    Why is it only American servers having these issues? Why not Japan or even Europe? Someone has dropped the ball. I will be waiting a month before pre-ordering, if I pre-order. Normally I don't pre-order games, but I have never regretted pre-ordering exansions for FFXIV.

    I'm pretty sure EU and Japan are having their own types of issues; it just might not be the exact same type of issues we are experiencing.

    I hope they are better prepared when it's time to launch ...

    There will be a higher head count than just the people pre-ordering.
