    "Players have to grind to Season Rank 35 and then fight Brainiac just to begin playing as the new season character. Want to skip the grind? That’ll be $10, please."

    In two sentences that sums up what's wrong with gaming today. You should have to grind to achieve something in a game, otherwise why are you playing? Allowing that to be skipped by paying a fee is not gaming and for me is indicative of why gaming is committing suicide just to push the revenue up.
