Seeing alot of posts and reviews about tarisland but almost know one discussing the fact that equipping items (armour and weapons) doesn't change your appearance, this is a deal breaker for me , what are people's thoughts on the lack of visual progression?

Missing an option here, Depends on the View.

If my characters view in the game is mostly first person, like in 7D2D than it doesn't really matter much as I can't see myself except in rare occasions.

Every now and then I'll see my character when calibrating gun turrets cameras and be startled, wondering who that is that snuck up behind me. :)

If the game has a 3rd person view then no customization would be troublesome.

I did not vote as I don't know the game well enough, but that would only be a show stopper for me if they never intend to allow avatars to change their appearance. If it is something they will add after launch that would fine.

Players who played WoW in China are getting WoW back soon so this game will not make it far.

+ fancy outfit at the beginning
    - Ugly graphics
    - you can't run where you click
    - no second keyboard assignment, so you can't assign "wasd" and the arrow keys, nor any mouse keys.
    - no instructions about how things work ingame, but on the other hand a "heroic" intro where you will assigned as a outstanding heroic person. What a bullshit.

And then you are standing there in the very beginning with a barely customized char thrown in a ridiculous pompous story and realize is only meant to cover up the fact that they haven't put any seriouse thoughts into a own good story, where the char is build up from zero. No creativity and in this version even worse than some 15+ year old WOW clones like Runes of Magic.
