I have mixed emotions, like a love and hate relationship with the game. I've been there off and on since my guild migrated from The Secret World over to AA in the beta/release. I wasn't a pvp'er, I was a farmer. I would log in to relax, plant my crops, feed my animals, go treasure hunting...and in the older days, trade runs when that was viable. I never cared about gear progression, just having fun with friends. It sucks because I haven't found another enjoyable mmo since discovering AA all those years ago. My first love, was Anarchy Online, then my second, was Archeage...now to go through life without an mmo to play...oh well. I will not be checking out the 2nd version of AA if/when that comes out.

I like how only 6 months ago, when Kakao was mergeing unchained /retail, they told everyone not to worry as they would totally be adding new content to the game, and a new playable fairy race.

This also came with a new cash shop, and packages for the new server.

Now they are shutting down. Also no Refunds for those packages, or credits !!!

How many times can people fall for their bullshit? Like, didn't most of us catch on right away? I know I and many others did. But there were still people falling for the lies? Damn shame. They probably loved the game and didn't mind being gouged.

No great loss really. I tried it when it was first released and was underwhelmed, so I stopped playing it for good just a few months after.

That game has major flaws since day one. Like for instance, the fact that if you weren't a no life, you could hope for a property (which isn't so bad in other games... but...) and therefore had no hope to be able to compete in crafting.
A bad game, badly designed, that should have died long ago.

We heard when it was in development that it was going to be one of the all time greats.....Then it finally released and was very underwhelming....Then you find out at level 35 that the game becomes FFA PVP, ready or not.....It was a very short lived, forgettable experince in my book.

Sounds like a good time for another land rush. Get your land now for cheap and be sure that no one else will ever get it. It's yours as long as the game lasts.

That land rush thing was nuts I could not find anything that was good for the crop I wanted to grow. Every piece of decent land was taken and what's more there were people selling them for exorbitant prices and it really goaded me at that time to see the stupid chat of them saying they had this piece or that piece of land that they were not even using.

I considered just placing crops illegally but that scared me because I didn't want to lose them. I searched for 4 days real time looking everywhere and I finally found a piece that was expiring. I waited there on that spot for the timer to run down and got it.

There were interesting things like when I carried my first package on my back all the way to sell it. Getting my first wagon and then upgrading and upgrading and finally seeing my land grow as obtained the neighbouring plots. The game definitely had some good ideas but some rotten ones too like the energy gate. The game looked good too. I still recall carrying the little pony on my back. Have a picture of it somewhere.

Played the 1st release....had promise but as usual greed ruined it. Also the whole time gated activities is a complete and utter shit show for an mmo...

These developers had a good game they could have continued had they conducted themselves with less greed and gross incompetency.
