If you read the patch notes there's quite a few more buffs than what this article calls out. It's a bit of "sky is falling" click bait to be honest which clearly worked on me, so +1 to ad revenue. Yay! Honestly just looks like they're trying to keep the meta moving around so people don't get comfortable with their 1 build and try new things. I hate that stupid guard dog by the way. It does as much friendly fire as anything, and there's no way to so much as turn it off short of dropping it entirely. I typically kit out with heavy armor and the energy shield just to soak the friendly fire from those stupid things. I'll be glad to see fewer of them on the battlefield.
Nope. NO. That's a bullshit misleading title. There are buffs too. How DARE you mmorpg!
Dominator was originally 200 dmg. It was buffed to 300 dmg. Now changed to 275 dmg. TECHNICALLY it's still a BUFF.
If you actually play the game and use the sickle and use it well. You never use more than 2 reloads. No noticeable difference!
The guard dog ROVER is just a flying SCYTHE and the scythe damage is BUFFED. The damage reduction to the rover just keeps it almost the same as it was before.
The Quasar Cannon still does the exact same damage, one shots charges just as before. Just a cooldown timer increase. A balance, not a nerf.
Everyone I know who plays has been really happy with the updates overall. I like how they come up with cheesy lore ties for some of the balance changes. The effort they put into creating a positive atmosphere is admirable.
