    ngl, this game sucked me in for a few weeks. It's very well done with great art and style. As for the mechanics, I didn't find them to be too awful. It's certainly using some behavioral cues (tricks?) to make you more inclined to pay up but I don't think it gets in the way of enjoying the game casually.

    It'll be interesting when the new season begins. I think it might be another tactic to get players to fork up some cash.

    I'm not a whale, but I have bought every "subscription" and one time purchase only option, for a total of about $100, there is. I'm just reaching resonance level 190 and AFK stage 915. I only get enough XP each week to gain about 10 resonance levels... so it will be really close to make resonance level 240 by the start of the season, or perhaps I can't make it, and they are trying to incentivize me to spend some more cash. F2P accounts have no chance.
