I really wish CCP took EVE Valkyrie and made that combat the standard in EVE. I loved EVE in 2003 and played it until around 2005.... But it's so dated now that I cannot go back. It feels like playing Project 1999 of SWG Emu, just unplayable 20+ years on beyond nostalgia.

I played EVE Valkyrie in VR back in 2016 and it was the most intense amazing thing I had experienced in a game for years. The combat was so engaging and I wish'd that was the real game, games like Elite Dangerous prove that you can have depth and real time twitch combat, it doesn't have to be either or.

I also wished they ditched their skill system too and replaced it with something more like say SWG. Where you gain skill doing the action you want to do and you have to switch and swap. Rather than just training and waiting and for people like me with old characters, the skill system is completely irrelevant, it might as well not be there as I have everything.

I'm with you on that one! EVE Valkyrie was a great VR experience.

Is it a no-hair corp? Reminds me of John Scalzi's Old Man's War.
