How old is your PC?  Brand and what not (motherboard information is helpful).  If you know the motherboard, you can go to that manufactures site and see if it has an AGP (2x/4x/8x) slot, PCI-e 16x, or just PCI slots.  Once you know that you're good to go (if it's AGP, make sure you know the speed).  Then find a card that fits into the slot you need.

Also, if it is a new PC and uses the Intel onboard video chipset, you can probably play WoW with it (my work PC is 3 months old and can play WoW with the 8294G chipset).

Edit:  And I've never heard or seen a virus that killed the graphics card.  Try uninstalling the graphics drivers and reinstalling with the up-to-date ones.

Uhh...if a store that I took my comp into screwed up my vid card they'd be either giving me one of equivalent value, or whatever costs the same today off the shelf. And why would they be messing with your vid card if you have a virus?

Many viruses (the worst) permanently mess up your drivers and they had to replace the driver causing the graphic card to get ruined. Runescape does work on this comp .. runescape does work but i want more options
My cpu is a compaq pc/winows xp home edition i got like in 2000. It has 1024mb ram, a 1.5ghz AMD athlon, directx9 in perfect condition except for the graphic card is F'ed up and the one i bought for it wont work on it so I use only java and flash.

My main prob is I dont know which games run with only java/flash.

EDIT: I actually had to pay for a new graphic card and it didnt work either

Ok something isn't right here....  the drivers got "messed up" thus destroying you graphics card? How is that even possible? Then you say you paid for a brand new vid card and it wont work either, sounds more like a motherboard problem to me. Oh and if Best Buy would screw up my PC I would first call the manager, then district manager ect..ect. Still, your story sound fishy to me...but who am I to judge?

It's pretty hard to destroy a graphics card since it is a physical piece of hardwire with very little magnetic "vunerability"

They would have to have destroyed the fans, chipped off pieces of the chipset, remove the hintsinks, etc.  Plus, I would assume the Geek Squad would have no need whatsoever to take your graphic card apart or even remove it from your mother board due to a viral infection.  I know enough about computers that viruses usually doesnt affect graohic cards....only software based information which could lead to a reformatting of a harddrive, etc...so I know the Geek Squad would know more about it.

First of all.....what is your Graphic card? An exact description would be helpful.

Also, what exactly was wrong with your computer? Was it a virus or was it more?

Was your mother board replaced?  Some older and newer graphic cards do not work with certain motherboards (which is the reason why I would like to know your graphics card)

If they did physically destroy your card, I would demand for a replacement.  However, something inside of me is telling me it may be a simple fix to get your graphic card operational again.
