    Hell yeah!

I would prefer Warhammer 40,000 as the setting for a total war game, but a Star Wars: Total War is pretty high up my list!

I'll be very curious how they handle "the map". Star Wars is very much about a whole galaxy of planets and factions, I imagine that'll be very difficult to translate into a grand campaign map. Also, space combat? That'll be a challenge for Creative Assembly too.

Maybe it'll have something like Star Wars: Empire at War where there's space and land battlefields. Kind of disappointed it's not WH 40K but Star Wars could be good, too.

That sounds like an "in case of emergency, break glass" game if I've ever heard of one.

Hopefully they take their time. The last few felt a bit cookie cutter rushed. This deserves some exta love and uniqueness.

Little over 1,000 hours in Warhammer 3 alone....

Been a bigger Total War than MMO for quite a few years, but Star Wars? Not entirely sure I'm feeling it. The concept would be great, but an awful lot of things that don't fit with what CA really does well. Space combat was already named, and not sure how they would make the map work.

Frankly, I'd really rather see them redo Medieval 2, move things into WWI or WWII era. Hell, if they could have done a LOTR game, I'd have been down for that. Some of their best work though have been the historical titles, and I'd like to see them get away from the fantasy for a little bit, and give us a really good historical title. (Unlike Pharaoh which just didn't do a whole lot for me, and still feels like a "saga" game, instead of a full title.)

It absolutely kills me, as both a huge Star Wars fan, and a huge Total War fan to say it, but yeah...I'd rather CA stay away, at least for now.

The microtransactions & small dlc releases are strong with this one.

I'm skeptical.  They've never even figured out how to get a WW1 style Total War work.  Failing with an expensive IP at this point could kill the studio.  They'd have to innovate a ton of stuff for a star wars TW.
