You did not really answer my comment though, or Frodo's (salient points bolded) and it's not a grammar issue.

And you do try to read Blizzard's mind because "oh they hotfixed it so they must have considered it an exploit". Unless Blizzard comes out to say it is an exploit, it isn't. Not yours nor thar rando writer's to say it.

You guys are making rules up to spite someone you don't know on the internet because he plays the game differently and with different goals than you.

Where is that rule and how much does it dictate it should take to level up? Or what exactly did he do that was wrong and why? I gave an example that would be unambiguous: duping bugs.

EDIT: personally I'd call bs even if Blizzard came out and say after the fact that it was an exploit because I do not think it's that obvious - their game their rules but it would leave a bad impression on me.
Blizzard only had three hours to react, was post three hours "after the fact"? If you don't think a studio can say what is an exploit then nothing is and games are a cheaters paradise.

We have gone on for some time about this now so I am finishing here, quite happy for our "player apologist" ((Tzervo must have got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning, poor studios :) )) to have the last word.

In 7D2D such exploits are referred to as "cheezing" the game mechanics.

It's been a constant "battle" between the players and The Fun Pimps who endeavour to make gamers stay within the lines which causes great resentment at times once exploits are patched out.

Unfortunately TFP often decides to completely revamp or even entirely remove some pretty fun features rather than bother to fix the exploits.

But while some consider such exploits cheating it's a personal decision being a single player game for the most part, though on the server I run we have an agreement to forego certain ones in order to not spoil the fun for each other.

It would be Blizzard that decides what is an exploit, surely not the player. They are in the best position to determine what an exploit is. If this was a single player game you can exploit cheat and do whatever you want and define it in whatever way least egregious to suit your mood but in MMORPGs the developer will say what is an exploit. It makes no sense for the players to say what is and isn't.

Don't hand out world firsts and achievements if you do not intend to do so fairly.
