The Rabbit's Revenge event brings hordes of blood-thirsty mammals to New World, and this year the devs have decided to bring the event back around for even more slaying and rewards.

    So yeah according to steam charts New World has dropped below 10k peak players this month. To put into perspective where they are, way back in July of 2022 before they started the Brimstone Sands hype when everyone was declaring the game dead they had 26k peak players. Now they're below 10k. I can't see them making another year given their current rate of attrition. Seems like they've dipped below a critical mass threshold and will need to throw in the towel because the microscopic player base will no longer justify the salaries of the development team.

    The game has no content! They did drop a DLC (please...dont call it an expansion) and then they didn't add any CONTENT AT ALL!

    They have been teasing a june announcement for 5 months now and everyone knows its gonna be a console launch! Wow...............................

    This game is GGWP over! They only keep it alive so that they can code some stuff usable for LoTR next MMO from AGS.

    I hope that new lotr game fails hard just like the show and Lost Ark and New World. I hate AGS more than EA and that's saying something.
