  I remember when I used to care about getting all the cool stuff in games..... The cash shops ruined it all to the point where loot means nothing to me now. Even in games that do not do that stuff (which is really rare) I've stopped caring, they've worn me down. It has even gone to "completing" the game or generally just completing tasks in the game. Now you can just pay to get levels and to skip stuff, advancement in the game has become meaningless to me. I wonder if this is a big reason to why I do not care about mmorpgs any more, they do not offer the worlds or the communities now.... They just exist to get you through their stores.

  Trying to be a completionist ended for me when I saw this Blizzcon only mount in WOW.  
  
  
  
  I also quit TBC classic after seeing this store only mount in the world.  And no I never spit on someone that had it.  It just completely took me out of the game to see a store only mount that was never around when TBC was live.
