Vampire: The Masquerade - Justice, from developer Fast Travel Games, certainly captures the atmosphere and feel of stalking the streets of Venice as a deadly vampire at night. However, it is somewhat marred by several technical issues and certain weak gameplay elements. Check out Kevin's review to see if this VR stealth RPG might satiate your hunger.

I take my Victorian Vampire top hat of to you if you have played VtM LARP. :)

I tend to hear many of these VR games are lacking in the graphics department, it is a secondary reason which has put me of getting a VR set.

VR games lack graphics due to the punishing demands of rendering high enough resolution to minimize screen door effect while hitting 90+ fps which is required to prevent motion sickness in most people. It's an absolute ton of pixels that need to be pushed and frankly top end rigs today still aren't really capable of it if you're talking about rendering something complex like an Unreal Engine 5 game. So... They solve the problem by backing way off the graphics so your ill equipped PC has a prayer of not catching on fire while you play.

I'll give the RTX 5-series a big fat maybe as far as handling it although 6-series will be a better bet , but more than likely the HMDs will keep pushing the resolution higher.

VR is really for enthusiast who have no problem dropping $5k on their rig and another $1k on their HMD. If that's not you then VR is something to go experience at a "VR Experience" establishment.

I won't tell you how much I paid this year for my new PC but those figures are not high enough. I would not get a VR set though because of the graphics, the motion sickness, VR is just too early in development to interest me, but if they can fix the issues then I will be there.

I have severe motion sickness even in first person games but thankfully games like Cyberpunk have a lot of settings to help with it and I can play for awhile before I begin to get a bit of discomfort. So big points for them. I was never able to last more than 10 minutes.

VR I have no confidence in ever being able to play it. I shun those games like a plague.

I hope may be in the future for this to be seamless and a technology we can actually all use without issue.
