The best game out on market

Hey, im looking for a game (other then WoW) that has good pvp, team work pve, and end game content. Whats the best game that matches that out on the market today, and does this game have a free downloadable trial i can try out before buying.

    honestly, i am still hanging around with WoW till something next gen really hits.

    but


    it prolly wouldn't hurt to dabble with  EQ2.  I wont play anything with SOE, but i am sure it's a solid game.

    You can try DAoC, very good pvp system, but it's quite old game.

    Runescape is good, the graphics are hideous but the game play is fun. DDO is a good MMORPG but it is still in its early phases... EVE online is ok, same withe EQII and Diablo.

    Download the trial for DDO first same with EVE and EQ2...

    I really recommend DDO though great game

    From what I read I thought of Dark Age of Camelot immediately. This game has the best implemented PvP system of all games if you're into team work. The PvE is also very well done and endgame content is in abundance.
    I believe they've still got 14 days free trials open.

    DDO doesn't have ANY PvP action so it's really not an option. The Questing on the other hand is marvellous, and BG or NWN fans will love it...but it still can't cover the lack of PvP.
    EVE  on the other hand......it's a great game with virtually anything you can look in a MMORPG. PvP, PvE, crafting, trading, pirating, guild(corporation) activities....all taken to almost perfection .

    Best choices are Dark Age of Camelot or EVE Online. EQ2 has pretty good PvE and content but the PvP is limited. City of Villians might be another choice for PvP but I found CoH/CoV to be very monotonous PvE wise.

    Of course there is Guild Wars if PvP is your main focus and not sure what the new expansion added but the PvE was pretty ordinary, basically a sidedish to PvPing.

    Dark age of camelot for PvP, solo or 8v8 or Zerg v Zerg sometimes 100+ players from every realm in same zergs !

    I tried DDO, the framerate is horrible. EVE was abit hard to control and i didn't like the far away fighting. I went to try DAoC and it required a credit card but i didn't feel like typing it in.

    shadow bane best game besides eq2 with pvp

    yes i played daoc and maxed 2 chars and had a half dozen more

    and yes one of my battles in that time was my best fantasy pvp

    far as best pvp any genre planetside

    omg the battles i had in that game

    but shadow bane is realy cool , except for getting ganked

    but thats pvp if youre into it

    most games have trials, try them out and see which fits you best.
