Zzzzzzz... What a snooze fest of a game. You'd think a modern AAA game like this could figure out how to dispense with the loading screens, but you'd be wrong.

Still not worth the original price, one day I might buy it but the discounted prices I've seen need to be half of what they have been to be comparable with similar crappy games.

I love the game. I never understood the hate.
Looking forward to the release. Second half of the year is looking busy!

The updates and the toggles to play how you want. Has really been a huge change. I'm going back to Starfield after Star Wars Outlaws.

The only game i’ve just given up due to
    Boredom from Bethesda.
The world and mechanics simply werent engaging enough for me to want to keep playing.
It was just very very bland

I am pretty excited for this. Played it a ton at launch via Gamepass, and have been waiting for the new content and mod support so I can play some more.

I really enjoyed some of the random encounters, and the slight variations done in NG+ My brother and sister played it quite a bit too, and the interactions we had were all quite a bit different outside of the main story.

The improvements to the maps is greatly appreciated, and while the fast travel was a bit cumbersome at first, once I figured out how to use it effectively it made exploring and traveling much easier. I don't really like space flight as a focus, so being able to skip it most of the time was a positive aspect for me.

I bought it on eBay for $35. It was worth that.

If this was 2015, I would have a more positive view. Starfield was the most anticipated yet disappointing game ever. It's a cutscene simulator with very poor design across all systems.

I truly hope they continue to work on it because its certainly too late for a refund.

I'm curious. Did they ever improve performance of the game? Game was boring, uninteresting and dull but that wasn't so bad compared to performance. I haven't seen something so atrocious since AC Unity.

I'll start a new save when the expansion launches. I like Starfield a lot. It is basically Skyrim in space, only spread way out. That really bothered some people obviously, but not really me so much. It's the Starborn/Dragonborn thing I dislike in both. My next play through I won't be stepping through the Unity soon, or at all. Fallout is still my number one Bethesda franchise.

The way Bethesda treats gamers, they don't deserve a dime. They are incompetent, and shit on us too much. So I am responding in kind to never give them a @#!? dime, ever again. You'd be wise to do the same; but it's your money. Just know that we won't be treated better until we stop supporting such corporate garbage.

Most loading screens can be avoided though through fast travel, except with indoor locations.

It's the limitations of them clinging to that stupid old game engine, but that is a thoroughly beaten dead horse now.

We have to take the game for what it is and it has plenty of amazing stuff to go for, that I got more than my money's worth ( only paid for the DeLuxe upgrade via GamePass :P ).  Think I got like 200+ hours out of it. That is more than most other games I have played in recent years.

I am just a sucker for the Sci-Fi setting.

I really enjoy playing this game. Can't wait for it to officially come out. Looks like the second half of the year is going to be packed with awesome stuff!

    What are you talking about?

How are they mistreating us? They are a game company pretty much like any other. They make a game and if it is intriguing you can buy it.

There are no angel game companies. And if you say Larian keep in mind cd projekt red was once beloved and then they had their mishap and are no longer perfect in the eyes of gamers.

Larian will misstep because nothing is perfect and they’ll have their time of wrath.

It sounds like the modding kit is releasing today?

As usual, I've waited to really jump into the game, although I did buy it at release. If the mod kit comes out today, that could be a lot of fun.

I didn't see it in the article, does this expansion cost anything? Or is it free like all the NMS expansions have been?

People live to hate. I'm playing other things, but I'm gonna take a look at this when I've reduced my steam backlog a bit....a bit.

Well, lack of content was often posted about, for those of us who 'wait before we buy' the game seems to be shaping up nicely. :)

I realize no game company is perfec to the T; but every one needs to set some standards for themselves, so they don't get burned. We pay these companies for a product; but if that product is broken, and they have a reputation of that, ontop of expecting their customers to fix it for them, that is where I draw the line. You should read some history on other shit Bethesda pulled, like with the tote bags.
