Just like to point out the only reason they're called "Chapters" and not expansions/dlc is soley so they could be excluded from automatically being added to subscription access for the first year after release.

That's a bit naughty, but I find it hard to criticise a MMORPG in this area of the game that keeps pushing out content, that is a rarity these days.

It doesn't quite work as was stated but DLC access is a bit of an odd duck as there are two ways of getting it.

One option is to maintain a subscription. This method gives access to all DLCs so long as it is maintained.

The other option is separate purchase of DLCs. Access to any DLC so purchased is maintained regardless of subscription status.

The amount of content one gets with a sub more than warrants the sub fee in my opinion. I am perfectly fine with a sub fee and paid expansions. Its my preferred system.

I feel plagiarized. The bot AI post has been removed so this no longer makes sense! :) The AI post was identical to my post.

ESO+ does not give you access to the newest "chapter", you only get what's available in the store purchaseable with crowns and new "chapters" get added to the cash shop a year after release. Subs get the newest "chapter" a year behind, unless they outright buy it for cash.

So yes, it does indeed work quite as I stated.

There are numerous options for game purchase.

Standard Edition ~ This includes the Base Game and Morrowind Chapter only.

Gold Road Upgrade ~ This is for those that already have all the Chapters before Gold Road.

Collection: Gold Road ~ This is for those that do not already have all the Chapters before Gold Road.

Both of Gold Road Upgrade and Collection: Gold Road have deluxe versions that are more expensive and contain some extras.

ESO+ is their term for subscription. It has nothing to do with Chapter access. It grants access to all DLCs so long as it is maintained as well as other subscription only benefits.

That content not covered above must be bought with Crowns whether purchased or from the stipend included with subscription. You continue to be imprecise and thus misinform.

It does indeed have something to do with Chapter access, it's why they stopped calling expansions DLC and named them "Chapters". They named them Chapters so they would not have to include them in subscriptions as dlc at release, as you yourself point out SUBSCRIPTIONS INCLUDE ALL DLC. They realized that when people got excited when subs were first announced because at that time EXPANSIONS WERE ONLY CALLED DLC. That is what I said in the post you first quoted and to which you sresponded it "did not exactly work like that". So before you decide to call someone ( who played ESO from day one, was there for the "chapter" rebranding, and still plays occasionally ) "imprecise and misinformed", how about you pay attention to what post you responded to and stay on track instead of shifting shit shit around to fit your narrative?

It is how things are, you ignorant ass. My god, just stop. Stop talking about things you obviously have no clue about, just because you want to appear ( and not actually be ) intelligent. Everyone here who has even the most cursory knowledge of ESO is laughing at you right now. I've been looking through your post history, you have a habit of trying to sound knowledgeable about things you're not. Maybe take a vacation. In the meantime, I'm putting you on ignore as I have no desire to lose more brain cells engaging with you.

So just to be clear… if I sub I’ll get access to everything except the newest chapter/expansion?
