28th Character class! Now its not like I think BDO don't add real content, they do, but 28 charter classes, come on. :)

Yes, with most of those 28 classes having Succession and Awakening alternatives. Succession enhances use of the first weapon the class gets. Awakening enhances the use of the second weapon the character gains access to in later levels. These weapons are different enough such that the Awakened and Succession version of each class are evaluated separately in terms of performance in various conditions by those that make guides for them.

The classes also vary in how in how active they are in terms of ability use and the complexity of putting those abilities in to use. Unlike most games where you need only push a button to execute your abilities many of those in BDO require specific keyboard presses to be used, sometimes in long finger twisting sequences.

Like every other Korean MMO, it's got stunning combat & visuals, and dogshit game design in every other regard.

Yeah, it would be nice if a western studio could make an MMORPG with good visuals and combat.

I wouldnt say it was dogshit in anyway
It had the node wars which when I played were very fun pvp
The worker system which was a first in a mmo
    Very nice crafting and gathering
The worst part was the classes as I said
I played for 6-7 years more than a dozen classes and the gameplay was similar

The game is fine, but atypical. Some people come in expecting what the game does not provide and thus find it lacking despite the unique features it has.
