    Are all ESO houses without Windows still? Are they open now, or closed instances still?

    Yeah, kinda defeats the point then. Sitting by a fire, looking out at the landscape through huge windows…but instead you have to build a bunker

    Yeah, kinda defeats the point then. Sitting by a fire, looking out at the landscape through huge windows…but instead you have to build a bunker

    For some people, the point is to decorate their house and use it as a base.

    I would agree with you that a house "in" the world is better but given their game and world design that's not really feasible. They don't really have "a world." Just a set of maps with their quests and events scattered over them.

    Then again, maybe they could redesign some of the dwellings to look out into the cities. That might require a lot of work though as they are their won separate maps.
