A new deal between Palworld dev Pocketpair, Sony Music, and Aniplex has established Palworld Entertainment Inc, to expand the IP and start global licensing and merchandising opportunities.

The last time i walked into a Gamestop there were no PC Games at all and the various console games (Switch, PS, Xbox) accounted for less than half the store, with very little variety. The rest was filled with this *merchandise*, plastic toys, stuffed toys, cards, mugs, outfits, pillows etc. I was going there to browse the games, I have not bothered returning to one since and am pretty much full digital now.
There are many factors for the problems with brick and mortar stores but in my opinion this is a partial reason why locally in the last 2 years they have gone from 9 stores within 45-60 minutes of me to just 2 remaining.
