Vawraek Technology Inc. launched its second beta test for The Quinfall to hundreds of players worldwide from August 9th to the 16th. Sam was able to spend some time within the game - but did it deliver in such an early state?

    I think we are going to get more and more accusations/implying that writing and voice is AI as we go along. One guy on here thought the blurb on the main page about each article must be AI generated because the blurb was third person and the article was first person!

    This is all really just a form of intense therapy, and we are all really in a room by ourselves thinking that all this stuff on the screen is real.

    Wait, really? We write those in third person because they act as the meta description for the page on Google, and it would be weird for the website to portray all its various writers in first person.

    Also, half the time, it's the editors (so myself, Christina, or Steven) writing those. It's so weird that because it's in the third person, it must be AI. We use AI to transcribe long dev videos and our interviews with devs (Otter.ai is a fantastic service), but never to write articles. If we ever had that change, it would be disclosed for both ethical and Google-related reasons. 

    I know the comments on this have been in jest, but I just felt the need to get that out there in writing for the one-off person who reads this and thinks all this is true, lol.

    "Plethora of Bugs" is not something I want to hear about any game...Some have more than others, but that sounds really bad.

    Well it seems obvious to me that if you are writing a summary of someone else's work you are not going to write it using first person as that would sound like you wrote it.

    The paranoia about Chat AI knows no bounds, but then we do now have adbots who are making quite intelligent posts that respond rather than scrape a reply. And I have to admit that the "Chat AI" adbots posts are sometimes more informative than ours. :)
